About Theo

With 16 years of ESL teaching experience, I specialise in guiding high school and college students towards achieving excellence in English. My teaching philosophy is centred on personalised learning, where each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.

I combine structured instruction in grammar and vocabulary with interactive reading, writing, and speaking exercises, emphasising practical applications and real-life communication. I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment that encourages students to participate actively and build confidence.

Over the years, I have helped students improve fluency, academic performance, and communication skills, preparing them to succeed in school, exams, and professional settings.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is based on Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is fostered through interactive storytelling, role-plays, and project-based learning that encourage students to express ideas freely and develop confidence in using English.

Communication is emphasised via group discussions, debates, and collaborative tasks, which improve fluency, comprehension, and practical speaking skills. Compassion ensures that lessons are adapted to each learner’s pace and learning style, offering continuous guidance and encouragement.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, real-world applications, and analytical challenges that allow students to use English logically and effectively. I also teach complementary subjects like reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary development to strengthen overall academic growth.

This approach nurtures learners who are confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of using English successfully in diverse settings.
