About Ullas

I am an experienced flute tutor with 10 years of teaching experience. I enjoy working with school students, college students, and working professionals who are interested in learning music in a structured and enjoyable way. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence while developing strong technical and musical skills.

My teaching style emphasizes communication, creativity, encouragement, and flexibility. I create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated to ask questions, explore new ideas, and improve at their own pace. Every lesson includes practical exercises and individual guidance.

In addition to flute, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, breath management, beginner keyboard, sight reading, performance preparation, and music appreciation. These supporting subjects strengthen students' overall musical ability.

I help students develop proper breathing techniques, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, tone quality, and expressive performance. I also provide personalized practice strategies and continuous feedback to encourage consistent improvement. My goal is to help every student become a skilled, confident, and passionate flute player while enjoying the lifelong journey of music.

About the lesson

I believe that learning the flute should inspire confidence, creativity, and dedication. My teaching methodology follows Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to provide students with a positive and motivating learning experience.

Lessons begin with posture, breathing exercises, embouchure, finger placement, and tone quality. As students gain confidence, they move on to rhythm studies, scales, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques. Practical learning activities help students improve steadily while enjoying every lesson.

Communication allows me to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to each student's individual needs. Accountability encourages students to stay consistent with practice, complete assignments, and work toward achievable goals. Integrity helps me provide honest feedback, patient support, and respectful guidance throughout the learning process.

Besides flute, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Staff Notation, Rhythm Practice, Breath Control, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Practice Planning. These additional subjects strengthen musical understanding and confidence.

My objective is to help students become expressive and disciplined musicians who continue learning with enthusiasm.
