About Louise
With 10 years of Piano teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students unlock their musical potential. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, providing lessons that are tailored to each student's goals and abilities.
My teaching style combines patience, communication, and creativity. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging students to enjoy music and express themselves confidently through their playing.
Students learn piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm, sight reading, music theory, ear training, and performance skills. I also teach efficient practice methods that help students make consistent progress.
In addition to Piano, I offer guidance in keyboard skills, music reading, and basic composition concepts. These areas help students become more versatile and confident musicians.
I believe that learning music should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience. Through supportive instruction and personalised attention, I help students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching approach focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and continuous learning. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable while helping students develop discipline, confidence, and strong musical skills. Every lesson is carefully adapted to the student's age, ability, and personal goals.
Students begin with the basics, including posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these skills become comfortable, they move on to scales, chords, expressive techniques, dynamics, pedal control, sight reading, and performance skills.
I explain every lesson using clear language and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, understand each technique, and practise consistently. Regular feedback and personalised practice plans help students improve steadily without feeling pressured.
Lessons include music from different genres, allowing students to discover new interests while strengthening creativity and musical expression. Improvisation and accompaniment activities are introduced according to the student's level.
In addition to piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These additional subjects support complete musical growth.
My aim is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning, perform with expression, and continue improving throughout their musical journey.
