About Graham
I believe learning piano should be enjoyable from the very first lesson. With over 5 years of experience teaching college students, I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn, practice, and achieve their musical goals.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and student-focused. I explain every concept using simple English and practical demonstrations, making even difficult topics easier to understand. Students are encouraged to learn at their own pace while building confidence.
I use innovative teaching techniques such as digital practice tools, rhythm games, ear training, visual demonstrations, and song-based exercises. These methods make learning interactive while helping students improve consistently.
Students develop strong skills in note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide continuous encouragement and customized practice strategies that support long-term musical growth.

My teaching philosophy focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous encouragement. I believe learning piano should develop not only technical skills but also confidence, discipline, and artistic expression. Every student receives a learning plan designed around their personal goals.
Students begin with posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm training, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, articulation, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I teach through demonstrations, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and listening activities. Students receive regular assessments and detailed feedback to help them improve step by step.
Students explore different musical styles and develop creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and performance practice.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and stage preparation.
My goal is to help students become skilled pianists who enjoy learning and performing with confidence.
