About Veronica

Hi, I'm Veronica Kourany, a certified mathematics teacher with a Master's degree in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Education. Over the years, I've taught every grade level, with a strong focus on high school mathematics (Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus Honors). I currently serve as a Math Coach for grades PK-6, where I train teachers and support students in building strong foundational math skills.

This combination of classroom experience, coaching, and formal training means I don't just know math, I know how students learn it, where they tend to struggle, and how to fix those gaps at the source. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or preparing for an advanced course, I bring a structured, professional approach to every lesson.

About the lesson

I'm a certified math teacher with a Master's in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Education. I've taught every grade level, with a focus on high school (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus Honors ) and I currently work as a Math Coach for grades PK-6.

That range is what sets me apart: I understand exactly where math struggles start (often years earlier than students realize) and how to close those gaps while still moving forward with grade-level material. Whether your student needs to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, I build lessons around how they think, not a one-size-fits-all script.
