Hi! My name is Laura, and I am a Doctor of Education, learning specialist, and experienced educator passionate about helping students succeed. I believe that every child can learn and grow when they feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their abilities. My background in education and individualized learning allows me to adapt lessons to each student's unique needs and learning style. I strive to create a positive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. I believe every child can succeed in math with the right support and encouragement. My lessons are personalized to each student's learning style and focus on building confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in elementary math. As a Doctor of Education and experienced learning specialist, I use engaging activities, visual supports, and step-by-step instruction to make math less stressful and more enjoyable. I welcome students of all ability levels, including those who may need extra support with attention, organization, or learning differences. My goal is to help students not only improve their math skills but also develop a positive attitude toward learning.
