About HyunJeong

I am a professional pianist with extensive training from the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. With over 15 years of experience performing internationally and numerous awards from prestigious competitions, I am passionate about the piano and sharing my love for music with others.

Teaching allows me to inspire and support students on their musical journeys, whether they’re new to the piano or looking to refine advanced skills. I believe that learning music should be rewarding and enjoyable, and I am dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging, and personalised learning experience for each student. My goal is to help you improve as a pianist and nurture a lifelong appreciation for music.

I bring professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm to each lesson, always focusing on each student's unique strengths and goals. Together, we will build a strong foundation and explore the rich, expressive world of piano music at a pace that suits you.

About the lesson

As a pianist trained at the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School, I focus on nurturing each student’s unique potential while building a solid technical foundation. My lessons blend classical techniques with an adaptable, student-centred approach, making each session challenging and enjoyable. I believe in setting a solid base in music theory, technique, and expression, allowing students to build confidence in their musical voice over time.

Each lesson is typically 45-60 minutes, designed to maintain focus and maximize learning while allowing flexibility for questions and review. I welcome students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, and tailor my teaching to meet each individual's specific needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to master core classical pieces, explore romantic or contemporary repertoire, or simply build piano skills from scratch, my lessons provide a supportive, inspiring environment to grow and thrive musically.

With over a decade of performance, teaching experience, and awards in international competitions, I bring passion and expertise to each lesson. I am committed to helping students enjoy their piano journey and develop as well-rounded musicians.
