My teaching approach is formed to each student, and I consider more than just a student's abilities. I often incorporate aspects of my experience providing therapy into work with students, working to bolster not only their academic skills, but their self-image, confidence, and self-compassion. With my experience working at a therapeutic day school, I also enjoy working with students with a variety of behavioral and emotional needs, including those with ADHD and on the Autism Spectrum.
Ultimately, I want each person that I work with to learn while simultaneously helping them to view themselves in a more positive, optimistic light.
I am currently a Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology at William James College. Through the college, I work as a teaching assistant (in statistics), tutor (statistics and writing), and research assistant. In my prior experience as a licensed paramedic, I taught both the practical and didactic portions of CPR, EMT, and paramedic courses.
If possible, please make every effort to cancel with at least 24 hours notice.
