About Verounia

Hello, my name is Verounia Ghaly, and I am currently a second-year doctoral student studying Psychology. I am very passionate about tutoring and helping others understand difficult concepts. I have been tutoring different subjects since I was in high school, and it continued with me until grad school. I am looking forward to helping you understand challenging concepts and reach your academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching style is centered on the student. I begin by learning about each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Then I adjust my explanations and activities to fit the way they learn best, whether they prefer to see examples, listen, or learn by doing an activity. I explain difficult ideas in small, clear steps and use real-life examples to make things easier to understand. I also ask questions, give quick feedback, and guide the student as they practice. Most importantly, I help students build confidence and learn how to think and study, not just memorize information.

Warm-up (3–5 minutes): Quick review of the previous lesson

Goal Setting (1–2 minutes): Clarify what we aim to learn in the session.

Main lesson (20–30 minutes): Step-by-step explanation of concepts using examples, diagrams, or demonstrations.

Guided Practice (10–15 minutes): Students solve problems or complete tasks while I support and correct in real time.

Recap & Next Steps (3–5 minutes): Summary of key points, feedback, and assign homework
