About Marco
I am a PhD candidate in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, I have a degree in Pharmacy from the same university and a technician from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro. I am part of the Group of Biocatalysis and Organic Synthesis of UFRJ, and my research is related to the investigation of methodologies for the synthesis of drugs.

My teaching method is multidisciplinary. I like to relate teaching in chemistry with the biological sciences and biochemistry. My classes are based on textbooks used at universities - Clayden, Carey and Solomons for organic chemistry; Atkins, Masterton and Brady for General Chemistry. I approach the subject in a structured way and reinforcement and content with lists of exercises.
