Doctorate-Level Pianist giving lessons in piano and tutors music theory, music history

About the lesson

I am a pianist who completed her doctoral studies in piano performance and piano pedagogy. I enjoy teaching, finding solutions to problems, and experimenting with new ideas. My dissertation focused on the relationship between art and music and the influence of that synthesis on a compositional level.

About Wen-Ting

I have been teaching for 10 years with students ranging from kindergarten age to adult students. I also have tutored music theory and can teach students how to improvise and compose their own music. My teaching philosophy in piano-playing aims to help my students in attaining a higher artistic vision with a focus on individuality honed by artistic principles gathered from a better understanding towards art, music literature, and one's own kinetic movement.
