About Margot
Aspiring players often feel the rough texture of steel strings against their fingertips during their first few weeks of study. I work with students who need clarity on fingerpicking, scales and modes, and essential ear training.
After 405 students, I find that mastering blues progressions and barre chords creates the most satisfying breakthroughs. Enjoyable practice is the goal. I find deep satisfaction when a student finally captures the rhythm of a complex piece.

Solid musicianship requires a clear understanding of the technical side of the instrument. I translate my Master of Music degree from Berklee into simple steps for my guitar students. We systematically cover fingerpicking and scale theory during our time together.
I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to reinforce our work. You will arrive at your next performance with total command of the fretboard.
