About Eloise
"Confidence grows when you can finally play your favorite tracks with authentic tone and rhythm. Ever wonder why your strumming patterns sound mechanical instead of fluid? I have 7 years of experience teaching learners how to turn song requests into simplified arrangements that match their current skill level. We explore modes and grade exam prep by keeping the process casual and fun.
You get to decide the pace while I provide the technical framework for improvement. My background in songwriting at McGill means I view the fretboard as a creative canvas.
It helps to have a teacher who sees the music behind the mechanical drills. Kids and adults alike find that my approach keeps the instrument feeling accessible. We focus on habits that stick for a lifetime of playing. I prefer to keep things laid back and natural."

"Music started for me with the scratch of a nylon string against a wooden floor in a quiet living room. I bring a songwriter perspective to guitar, focusing on scales, improvisation, and blues progressions.
My 165 students range from kids to advanced players seeking structure in their practice. As a native Québécois speaker, I value the storytelling element found in the songs of Charlebois and Céline.
I teach power chords and acoustic technique through the lens of a songwriter. My 7 years of experience help me guide self-taught players toward better habits. It is just playing the instrument well."
