It's extremely important to understand concepts, especially in mathematics where things are quite abstract. Very often, math is reduced to rote learning the formulae. My main objective is to make sure that you've understood the concepts and can apply them well. I like to use non-mainstream ways to take classes, for example, incorporating origami in geometry lessons. These classes will be one-on-one and are intended for high school students.
