  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    I got into fitness because I was quite lean in my high school years and wanted to transform my physical shape. But what started as a body goal became something deeper. After years of training, I realised it wasn't just about looking good — it was the satisfaction and productive feeling after every session that truly inspired me. I had to learn mostly through trial and error, researching, asking questions, and consulting with trainers along the way. That journey taught me so much, and now I want to become the guide for others that I didn't have. I'm passionate about helping clients avoid the mistakes and time I spent figuring things out, so they can reach their goals faster and smarter.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    I'm motivated by the chance to genuinely transform people's lives — that's a rare and special opportunity. I studied education and learned that teachers are role models, and I wanted to bring that philosophy into fitness. But here's the thing: I don't train clients just to keep them dependent on me for years. My real goal is to make them self-sufficient and help them build a sustainable, enjoyable relationship with fitness that lasts long after we stop working together. That's what drives my approach.
  • How does your work help society?

    My work helps society tackle a real problem — sedentary lifestyles have led to serious health issues for many people. By training clients, I help them move better, feel productive, and build confidence in themselves. When people train consistently and eat well, they stay healthier and live happier lives. But it goes beyond the physical. Fitness becomes a stress relief, a space where people listen to themselves, and the hormonal benefits mean they genuinely feel better. So many clients come in wanting to gain or lose weight, but they discover that fitness is actually about overall wellbeing — discipline, mental health, and self-worth. That's the real impact.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    I don't have a single role model, to be honest. My philosophy has come from experiences with many different trainers and gym folk over the years — each one taught me something valuable. I admire anyone who trains hard and commits to their body, but my actual approach to teaching comes from what I've learned personally through trial and error. It's shaped by all those conversations, mistakes, and breakthroughs along the way rather than following one person's path.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside of training, I love travelling with friends and family — trips and vacations help me recharge. I'm also really into content creation, which includes scriptwriting, videography, and video editing. It's a passion project that keeps my creative side engaged and balances out the physical nature of my day to day work.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    I had a client who came to me with a severe back injury — actually my first client through Superprof. He genuinely believed he'd never be able to do lower back exercises properly and was taking medication yearly just to manage the pain. But over two to three years of training together, we built his strength from scratch. He went from thinking he couldn't lift even one kilogram to deadlifting a hundred kilograms and setting personal records. That journey — from hopelessness to trusting the process and delivering real results — is what makes this work so rewarding. Stories like his remind me every day why I teach.
