About Mi Ok
I am Korean American. I am an adoptee. I came to the U.S. when I was five years old. I have returned to South Korea & lived & worked in Seoul for 2 years. That was an exciting & fun time for me. I learned so much about Korean culture, the language & people. I hope that I will teach you about American culture, language & people & you will teach me about your culture, language & people. I learned just as much from my Korean students as they learned English from me.

I am a Korean American native English speaker. I taught English in S. Korea for 2 years, at a university and privately.
I understand the struggle in learning to speak as a native English speaker.
I will teach you proper pronunciation, syntax, pluralism, gender identifiers, & (past, present & future) tenses.
English is one of the only formal languages that have rules, all of which have exceptions in writing & spelling.
Each lesson will be an exploration of learning, understanding & knowledge.
