About Ryan

I am a double bassist in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and have been playing bass for 17 years. Throughout the years of playing bass I have also taught many students and am looking to continue teaching this beautiful instrument to anyone who may be looking to play.

About the lesson

Whether you are a beginner at the instrument or trying to win an audition, I am here to help you achieve your goals on the double bass. I help students create a solid foundation for themselves so that they eventually will have all the skills to overcome any problem they have in playing the instrument. I emphasize a strong foundation of technique and help students to be able to play in all musical styles comfortably and confidently.
