About Delisha
I’m Delisha and I achieved a perfect IB score of 45, equating to a 99.95 ATAR. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney.
I decided to start tutoring because I know how challenging and overwhelming the IB can feel at times. Having gone through it myself, I understand the pressure of balancing exams, Internal Assessments, and everything else alongside it. I want to make that experience easier for other students by helping them feel more confident and in control of their learning.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing things “click” for students. Whether it’s finally understanding a difficult concept or improving in how they approach exam questions, those moments make a real difference. My goal is not just to help students achieve strong results, but to support them in building clarity, confidence, and effective study habits that last beyond the IB.

I tutor International Baccalaureate students. In my tutoring sessions, I focus on helping students build a deep understanding of IB concepts while developing the skills needed to confidently tackle exam-style questions. I work with students across:
- Chemistry SL and HL
- Biology SL and HL
- Mathematics Analysis and Approaches SL
- Hindi B SL and HL
- Theory of Knowledge
I personalise each lesson to match a student’s learning style and needs. This can mean reviewing challenging topics, practising exam questions, or developing strategies for answering questions efficiently. I also provide access to past IB papers and exemplar responses so students can see how strong answers are structured and what examiners are looking for. Having recently completed the IB myself, including the new syllabus for the science subjects, I have a clear and up-to-date understanding of what’s expected and how to approach both exams and assessments effectively.
I also offer guidance with Internal Assessments at every stage, whether it’s developing ideas, working through drafts, or refining final submissions. Having gone through the process recently, I’m able to give practical, detailed feedback that students can apply directly to improve their work.
I also focus on helping students manage their time and stay organised, balancing the demands of the IB with other commitments. Outside of lessons, I’m always happy to answer questions or provide clarification by text or email to make sure students feel supported throughout their learning.
