About Sam
I have a masters degree in system engineering, followed by doctoral research in artificial intelligence. I have also retrained in the medical fields of biochemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, amongst others, and I am currently completing a second masters degree in medical research into nutrition. I have learnt and speak, to varying degrees, three other languages besides English and have good linguistic knowledge of a further two. I have taught English as a foreign language to both children and adults and have given seminars in university to researchers.

My teaching method is based on a personalised approach tailored to each student. I have studied teaching methodologies both when teaching English as a second language and through experience giving seminars in engineering fields in university. I also have been trained in certain coaching skills (NLP) and home tutored GCSE students during my second year of university. I have taught KS2 and KS3 level. However, experience has taught me that since each person is different the best methodology is to teach each student according to their nature and capability in a bespoke manner, drawing upon the different skills I have learnt and experienced.
