About Leda
I was born and raised in Japan and I’m bilingual in Japanese and English. I have taught English in Japan Japanese in the US. I have homeschooled my daughter in both Japanese and English using standard curriculums from both countries. Whether you are looking for help with basic elementary Japanese reading writing and conversation skills or simply wanting to learn how to speak Japanese I will be happy to assist you in a way that is best suited for you. I have a very down to earth approach and base my teaching on the needs of each individual student. Using contemporary materials such as anime for younger students and every day language for adults, I start by building communication skills. I encourage students to watch different shows, movies and animation to supplement lessons so that students can experience Japanese modern life and culture as well.
