About Talia

I have over 12 years of teaching experience including private lessons, group lessons and workshops. I am currently teaching Drawing 1 and Figure Drawing as adjunct professor at CSU Long Beach and CSU Fullerton. I hold a Master of Fine Arts from University of Miami and was classically trained at the Atelier San Juan in Puerto Rico.

About the lesson

As a classically trained artist my teaching methods are rooted in Foundational Techniques of the masters. Students will learn the necessary tools to draw and paint accurately.

Private lessons will consist of drawing and painting from life or an image of your choice. Techniques that we will cover will include composition, color theory, color mixing, sighting & measuring tools, and techniques for how to observe and record life-like realism.

Recommended lesson length: 2 hours. In order to progress and gain the highest results.
