About Scarlett
With over 7 years of experience teaching programming, I help students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level exams understand not just how to code, but why code works the way it does. My lessons combine interactive demonstrations, visual explanations, and practical programming exercises. Students learn essential topics like algorithms, logic gates, flowcharts, and structured programming. I guide learners through past papers to build exam familiarity and strengthen technique. My approach is patient and supportive, helping each learner progress at a comfortable pace. I enjoy making abstract concepts feel concrete and meaningful. Together, we’ll transform difficult topics into understandable, manageable skills. You’ll gain confidence and clarity with every lesson.

My programming approach combines clarity, structure, and creativity to help students grow steadily. I teach important foundations such as loops, conditionals, functions, arrays, and algorithmic thinking. Each new concept is first introduced through simple explanations that highlight why the topic matters. Then we explore real code examples to understand how the idea works in practice. I guide students through hands-on exercises that strengthen their understanding and build confidence. I’m very good with learners who appreciate patient, calm teaching, and I help them overcome any fear of coding. I also encourage the use of planning tools, such as pseudocode or diagrams, before writing code. Students learn how to debug effectively and analyze their programs step by step. I bring real-world examples into lessons so students can connect programming to daily life. My goal is to help every learner develop the ability to think logically and solve problems with clarity. Through steady support, students build strong skills that carry into more advanced programming challenges.
