About Malveena

I want to start teaching now because I’ve reached a point in my journey where everything I’ve learned—both academically and through real-life experience—feels ready to be shared. Over the past few years, I’ve supported children and young people as a mentor, counsellor-in-training, and support worker. Each role has deepened my understanding of how people learn, think, and overcome challenges. Teaching psychology isn’t just about helping others pass exams; it’s about passing on the insight and passion I’ve developed so far. I know what it feels like to be stuck or overwhelmed, and I’m ready to support others through those moments with empathy, clarity, and care. Now feels like the perfect time to give back and help others succeed.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Malveena, a final-year Psychology student at Coventry University with a BPS-accredited degree and a strong academic track record (achieving a 2:1). I bring not just textbook knowledge but real-world experience from placements and voluntary roles, making my tutoring practical, relatable, and tailored to your needs. I’ve completed an intensive year-long mentoring placement with City Year UK, where I supported secondary students academically and emotionally through personalised intervention sessions. I’m currently training as a Childline counsellor and working as a SEND support worker, giving me deep insight into developmental, educational, and emotional challenges that students face. Whether you’re struggling with research methods, developmental psychology, health psychology, or dissertation support, I’ve been through it—and helped others through it too. With certified training in coaching, mentoring, and safeguarding, I bring a safe, structured, and empathetic approach to every session. I’m also experienced with SPSS, academic writing, and critical thinking—skills essential for acing assignments and exams. But more than that, I genuinely care. My aim isn’t just to help you pass; it’s to help you understand and even enjoy psychology. Let’s work together to reach your academic goals with confidence.
