About Rivka
"Teaching music production is often about unlearning the rules that keep you stuck. I hold a Bachelor of Music Production from JMC Academy and have spent 4 years helping artists turn ideas into finished records. My focus is on the workflow that keeps momentum alive.
We tackle beat making, drum programming, and MIDI sequencing with a practical mindset. I make sure you understand gain staging and signal flow inside out. My mixing fundamentals are designed to get you clarity fast. I also guide you through synthesis, sound design, and the nuances of tempo and groove.
I provide honest, specific feedback between our scheduled times to keep you moving forward. It is truly rewarding to see a student solve a complex arrangement hurdle. I enjoy watching the click moment when a track finally finds its own voice."
