About Marshall
Marshall Bureau is a drummer/multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in St. Catharines, Ontario.
As a drummer Marshall has worked in studio or on stage with many independent Canadian artists including Jill Barber, Great Lake Swimmers, Niagara Symphony Orchestra, Megan Bonnell, Matthew Barber, Wilderness of Manitoba, Deep Dark Woods, Jim Guthrie, Jim Bryson, Ken Yates, Gianna Lauren, Ron Sexsmith, Andy Kim, Dave Bidini, and more.
Marshall has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, and has performed at renowned venues such as Massey Hall in Toronto, Ontario, and The Blue Note jazz club in Tokyo, Japan and has appeared on 75+ albums to date in varied genres of music.
Marshall is also a composer currently working on his own solo ambient music project and has composed theme and incidental music for podcasts and short films.

Marshall uses time tested methods and an approach developed over his 25+ years of drumming experience to teach technique, independence, time keeping, speed/endurance, and modern creative approaches to playing music on the drum set. Everyone from the beginner to the experienced player will benefit. This comprehensive program covers all of the bases a modern drummer needs to be creative, to learn any song, and to play music with others.
