About Eric
I began playing music when I was 12 years old. Played in bands through high school and eventually played some gigs on the Hollywood strip. Although the dream didn't come true, I continued to play in cover bands for the last 30 years. All in, I have over 40 years experience and would love to share my knowledge with you! I specialize in prog rock, but can also give guidance/lessons to a beginner. I love teaching and coaching.

Lessons are always more fun when you are learning songs as opposed to doing "drills". I walk you step by step through your favorite songs that are just above your capabilities at that time. As you learn each one of these songs, you grow. Because you are learning songs that you love or admire, it doesn't feel like you're"taking lessons". Rush and Led Zeppelin are my strengths but any rock or prog rock song is on the table. If you want to learn a song - I can guide you through it! I also focus on the importance of dynamics. Dynamics are what separate the novice from the pro.
