About Ester
I graduated from UCSD with a degree in creative writing and literature, and went on to UCLA for their screenwriting certificate program. I’m a first generation Korean-American who lived in Mexico during my early teen years and now spend a significant amount of time traveling abroad, mostly in Italy. Language as a tool for communication at every level has been at the center of my life since childhood, and I’ve adopted a few tricks along the way for ease and nature of learning.

Moving to Mexico as a teen taught me that language learning doesn’t always work best through technical rules. It’s an intuitive process and repetition is key. Through fun storytelling assignments and casual conversations, our goal will be to have English come as second nature to you.
