About Rasul
It was my sixth grade teacher who inspired me to want to learn and be the best student I could be. She was patient, fun, caring and most of all, she believed in me and my potential to learn. Since that time I have become the same type of teacher to my students of the past and today. I have inspired so many of my students who did not think they could ever have success in math, change their minds and their feelings after taking my class. To this day, I have students from over 10 years ago reaching out to me to say "thank you". Every call or letter warms my heart and keeps me motivated to continue the work of teaching.

Patient, creative, fun and passionate, best describes my tutoring sessions and style. Using the "I do", "we do", "you do" model, students in grades K-8 are provided with modeling, review and independent practice opportunities to demonstrate mastery of the Standard. My experience has shown that students perform better when the tutor has a high level of patience and an inspiring attitude.
