About Emma
As a tutor, I think it is important to take a holistic approach. I have experience tutoring (4+ years) as well as experience being an instructor. While tutoring, I helped students raise their grades from D's to A's within a semester. This particular student was twice exceptional and was diagnosed ADHD. I tailor lessons to my students and find the best ways for them to learn and to succeed. These techniques include methods of studying the material we talk about but also the presentation of that material.

A little about me, I'm currently a Duke University senior studying Biomedical Engineering. I am specializing in Tissue and Cellular Engineering. As a university student, I have been explored many different ways to not only be the most effective but the most efficient ways for me to study and learn; I study differently depending on the subject and have a lot of different techniques that I use myself. I use these to help students find the best ways to prepare themselves.
