About Celia
I am a second year student at Durham University studying biological sciences. I find biology a fascinating subject and love understanding how things work.
I studied Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-Level achieving all A*s. As well as all 9s at GCSE. I really enjoy the problem solving aspect of these subjects. I have experience in teaching from tennis to CCF to tutoring for over a year.

I like to keep lessons fun and interactive. Biology is a content heavy subject so focus will be on ensuring you have a good understanding. I like to visualise biological processes with diagrams to see the bigger picture of how it fits in as well as focusing on the detail.
I have sat both GCSE and A-Level Biology achieving a 9 and A* respectively, so I have a good understanding of the exam style. Exam questions in biology can be tricky to understand what is actually being asked. So exam technique is very important. I will cover exam questions words, key words that examiners look for and ways to structure your answers.
Lessons will be held online via zoom / teams for typically an hour but I can accommodate to your needs.
My lessons are for anyone needing help sitting there GCSE's or A-Level whether is understanding the content or refining exam technique.
