About Ella
I am an undergraduate languages student at the University of Durham, England. Otherwise based in East Sussex. I'm a language fanatic - I currently speak C1 level French and Spanish (and native English) and I'm learning Italian, German and Japanese. I took A levels in French, Spanish and English Literature for which I received A and A* rank grades. I received a 1st class grade in my just completed first year at University. Apart from being a student, I am an experienced babysitter and a part time tennis coach and ski instructor. I am flexible and more than prepared to adapt to whatever your language needs might be.

As a student in the second year of my Undergraduate Degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, I understand the importance of practice when learning a new language. Because of this, my approach to teaching strikes a balance between speaking practice (which is the key to language confidence) as well as reading in the target language, building up to writing tasks which we will go over together. My sessions will be 40 minutes long, typically online but I can drive to you during the University breaks if you prefer in person sessions. My tutoring sessions are available for students of all ages, with a focus on A level or GCSE language (or English literature) students. I can help with general/ casual language learning and or exam preparation depending on what you would like!
