About Jayne
I’m an artist from upstate New York, with roots in Irish music. My passion began at age three when I first heard The Chieftains, which led me to learn the fiddle and I perform alongside them aged five. I honed my craft at Ithaca College, studying traditional Irish music, folk, blues, West African, and jazz. Since moving to Ireland in 2015, I’ve built a career as a professional musician, touring extensively and collaborating with renowned artists like The Chieftains, Frankie Gavin, Afro-Celt Soundsystem, Danu, Mik Pyro, Republic of Loose, Briknasty, Allison Russell, Ron Block of Union Station, Justin and Dan Hawkins of The Darkness, Liam O’Maonlai, Séamus Begley, Lunasa, Eoghan OCeannabhan, John Francis Flynn and many others. I love music, and I love to teach. Being able to share my passion is a joy.
