About Virginie

I am a woman in her fifties, certainly not very young, but rather jovial, dynamic, open, communicative and modern. Passionate about foreign languages, music and cinema, I like to share my knowledge and passions. I like the human contact, with young people in particular. I like teaching, explaining, helping, encouraging. Understanding, attentive, I know how to show great patience if necessary, provided that there is a good will on the part of the student. My motto: when you want, you can! Everyone has their own abilities and does their best. I make no judgement. I hope to make you want to learn English and progress!

About the lesson

My LEA studies, my many stays in English-speaking countries as well as my personal journey as an English teacher in schools in France and abroad have not only allowed me to master the English language but also to acquire solid pedagogical and cultural knowledge, and developed in me an openness to the world.
My teaching techniques and methods are differentiated and adapted to the needs of each learner, their age, language level, requirements, interests and possible shortcomings. The course can focus on the different skills involved in mastering a foreign language: written skills (comprehension, expression), oral skills (comprehension, expression, interaction, work on pronunciation, intonation), and linguistic skills (lexical enrichment by theme, grammar review) but also on the methods to acquire to progress and better understand the assessments. I can give lessons at all levels of primary and secondary education but also to adults wishing to learn English or improve their language level. I can follow the progress of the lessons taught in class by explaining and deepening them, help to learn the lessons or do the different exercises, or even develop my own lessons from authentic documents. Diversifying my pedagogy and showing great adaptability are therefore my priorities to meet your needs.
My dynamism, my relational qualities and my desire to share knowledge are all assets that I propose to put at your service.
