About Kylan

I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar for exams, performances, or personal interest. Teaching music is not just my profession, it is my passion.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can learn music with the right guidance, patience, and practice. I believe in building a strong foundation in basics like chords, rhythm, finger exercises, and music theory. Once the basics are strong, students gain confidence and grow faster. I design lessons based on each student’s level and learning speed. Some students want to learn for fun, while others prepare for stage performances or certifications. I guide them according to their goals.

Over the years, I have successfully trained many students who have performed in school competitions, college cultural events, live band shows, and church programmes. Some of my students have also started teaching guitar on their own. Seeing my students grow gives me the greatest happiness.

I focus on discipline, creativity, and consistency. I encourage students to practise regularly and enjoy the learning process. My classes are friendly, supportive, and motivating. I make sure students feel comfortable to ask questions and try new things.

With 10 years of experience, I continue to learn and improve myself so I can give the best to my students. My goal is not only to teach guitar but also to inspire confidence and love for music in every learner.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Guitar focuses on purposeful practice. I follow Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity in every lesson.

I design each class with clear objectives. Students know what they are learning and why they are learning it. Whether it is chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, or scale practice, every exercise has a purpose.

Motivation helps students stay focused. I guide them to practise correctly instead of practising for long hours without direction.

Through clear communication, I explain strumming techniques, chord structure, and timing in simple steps. I encourage questions and discussion to improve understanding.

Integrity means I teach honestly and with full dedication. I correct mistakes patiently and guide students towards steady improvement.

Creativity makes lessons enjoyable. I include favourite songs, improvisation exercises, and style exploration. I also teach music theory, songwriting basics, and ear training to give complete musical knowledge.

My aim is to build disciplined, skilled, and passionate Guitar learners.
