About Gabriella
As a Venezuelan-American, I was born a student of language and culture. I have been observing and participating in the second-language acquisition process for as long as I can remember. At a young age we learn that in order to communicate, we need to speak the language. But it wasn't until later that I realized in order to be truly proficient in a language, you have to understand the culture. This relationship between language and culture, this dance, is what I'm passionate about and what I love to share with others.
With over 14 years of experience, I specialize in language coaching, accent reduction, and translation for artists, athletes, and executives navigating high-profile media and entertainment spaces. My work spans press tours, interviews, on-set coaching, and trans-adaptation, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy in storytelling.
I have collaborated with top-tier professionals across the music, film, television, and sports industries, helping them refine their communication for international audiences. Whether guiding artists through global media appearances or adapting content for multilingual projects, I bring expertise that enhances reach and impact.

My classes incorporate all areas of language learning, such as speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar and pronunciation. I use the Communicative Approach, which focuses on language as a social tool. We focus on real-life situations in order to present a topic in context as natural as possible, because learning a language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. I also mix in a lot of cultural understanding. If you understand the society, then you can communicate much more effectively!
