About Cathe
With over 14 years of experience, I specialise in teaching singing to college students, helping them strengthen their vocal technique and artistic expression. I focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, range, and emotional performance, guiding students to sing with confidence and authenticity.
I combine traditional techniques with creative and interactive exercises such as vocal improvisation, recording sessions, and real-song interpretation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style, ensuring steady progress.
Performance skills are central to my teaching. I help students build stage presence, expressive delivery, and confidence for recitals, competitions, and auditions. Music theory and ear training are integrated to provide a strong understanding of music.
I encourage students to explore various genres and develop their personal style and unique voice. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and accountability, making every lesson engaging and transformative.
My goal is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and skilled singers while enjoying their musical journey.

My teaching approach to Singing is balanced, motivating, and student-focused. I use clear communication to explain vocal techniques such as breathing control, voice placement, and tone clarity. I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident and supported.
Creativity is encouraged through expressive singing, creative exercises, and emotional song interpretation. Students are guided to explore different styles and develop confidence in performance.
Cultural sensitivity is highly valued in my teaching. I respect every student’s musical identity and welcome songs from different cultures and languages. This helps students feel respected and inspired.
Accountability is ensured through structured lessons, clear practice routines, and continuous feedback. I track progress carefully and guide improvement. Along with singing, I also teach music theory, rhythm skills, ear training, performance preparation, and voice care.
