About Jessica
Currently in gap year, I have been studying for four years after my final level. After completing a scientific final level in 2014, I entered a BCPST (Biology Physics Chemistry Sciences of Earth) preparatory school at Lycée du Parc in Lyon. After two years of preparation, I passed the exams and went to Ensat (Engineering school in Toulouse) to become agronomist in plant genetics. I am currently in gap year to discover the world of work in France but also abroad. I am doing an Erasmus program in Germany with the University of Göttingen. So I can only deliver lessons by skype for now.

Having already taught to children of all ages and all profiles (from primary to scientific final level, general curriculum or specialized center), I have been able to develop different approaches adapted to my students. I am a dynamic person, using a lot of humor and jokes to teach in a good atmosphere. However, I want the student I follow to be dynamic and active in his/her approach. It is up to him to think ahead of the content of his session and he must be able (with or without my help) to point out his/her major difficulties in a chapter or a subject. I do not deliver the answers and prefer to reformulate several times so that the understanding comes directly from the student. I like working with motivated students who set goals. To sum up, I work with the student to develop his/her autonomy and I try to make him learning and understanding in a good mood!
