About Tate
I am a passionate singing tutor with 8 years of experience teaching music to school and college students. Teaching music is something I truly enjoy because it allows me to help students express themselves creatively.
During my teaching career, I have worked with students who had different goals—some wanted to improve their basic singing skills while others wanted to perform in events. Through regular practice and guidance, many of them achieved these goals and gained confidence in their voice.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong vocal fundamentals. Students learn breathing techniques, pitch control, rhythm, and voice modulation. I also encourage students to understand the emotion and meaning behind the songs they sing.
I believe that music learning should always be encouraging and enjoyable. My classes aim to create a positive environment where students feel motivated to practise and improve.
Helping students grow both musically and personally is what makes my teaching journey so rewarding.

My singing teaching approach is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management. I believe that learning singing should be both structured and enjoyable. I begin by helping students develop good vocal habits such as proper breathing, clear pronunciation, and pitch accuracy.
These skills form the foundation for confident singing. I adapt my teaching methods depending on the student’s progress and comfort level so they can learn at their own pace.
Creativity is an important part of my lessons because it allows students to express their feelings and personality through music. I also make sure students understand the purpose of each exercise so they can practise effectively.
My lessons are organised carefully so that time is used productively for vocal practice and song learning. Besides singing, I can also guide students in music basics, rhythm exercises, and stage performance preparation.
