About Anna
My passion for teaching started with having many amazing teachers and role models along my musical journey. I began learning violin when I was 10 and began seriously learning the piano at 16. Music has been a source of excitement and calm, challenge and release, and an incredible way to connect and give back.
Music knows no age limit; my students have ranged from eager 4-year-olds to a dedicated 74-year-old.
In my studio, I cultivate a relaxed and supportive environment where students can experience the true joy of making music. My goal is to help students build a deep understanding of their instrument and the inner workings of music itself. By focusing on both technique and creative function, I aim to equip them with the skills and confidence to become lifelong producers of music.
When I am not teaching, I am a busy homeschooling Mom who loves exploring new ideas and expanding minds alongside my family. My favorite memories are always centered on family life, whether I am cooking up deliciously nutritious meals as a self-proclaimed foodie, hiking out in nature, or tackling "extreme crafting" projects with power tools. I also stay active as a musician by singing, playing piano and violin, and collaborating in local musical ensembles.
