About Jen
I'm an ecologist and graphic illustrator with a background in microbiomes, ecology, entomology (hymenoptera), southwest botany, pollinators, and sci comm. I've worked a variety of positions across TX, CA, NM, AZ, Washington DC, and Madagascar. I graduated from UT Austin 2019 with a BS in Bio: Eco Evo Behavior.

I was an undergrad TA for the Biology of Birds field and lab course for 2 semesters, and an undergrad lab mentor for three years in an ecology lab. I am a visual learner, who teaches via case studies and powerpoint, with a personalized approach.
