About Daniel
I am a dedicated maths tutor based in Greater Manchester who recently graduated with First Degree Honours in Secondary Mathematics Education with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Throughout the course of my degree studies, I acted as a secondary maths teacher to pupils of varying ages and attainment levels, developing a teaching style which enabled me to work flexibly to meet the needs of the individual pupil. This included thought-provoking conversations that helped lead pupils towards the answers by creating their own reasoning, something many studies have found to create a deeper understanding. I do however recognise that all individuals respond in different ways to distinct teaching styles and I pride myself on my ability to quickly assess the attainment ability and preferred learning styles of my pupils to adjust and adapt my methods accordingly.
