Having lived in several states across the country, I have had the opportunity to teach in schools that embrace a wide range of educational philosophies and instructional approaches, including Traditional, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Emergent, Experiential, Classical, and technology- and AI-based learning. This diverse experience has equipped me to draw from multiple teaching methods, allowing me to adapt my instruction to meet the unique learning styles, strengths, and needs of every student.

I have been an educator for 21 years, with experience as a classroom teacher, mentor teacher, curriculum specialist, academic camp director, and a teacher of musical theater, singing, and acting. I also owned and operated a tutoring and homeschool business for many years focused on personalized learning for diverse students. I am passionate about creative, joyful and exploratory learning. I get to know my students likes, dislikes, struggles and strengths, and combine them with the state standards to create a full curriculum for each student that guarantees success! I work with children ages 3-8 on subjects such as: reading, reading comprehension, writing, math, fine and gross motor skills and art. I have experience working with children with ADD/ADHD, dysgraphia and dyslexia.
