Discussing philosophers (with emphasis on Western philosophers -- my knowledge of Eastern philosophy is at best passable) and relating their insights to our ordinary problems and perceptions. After all, philosophy is not learned in books or from them, it is grasped through the individual effort at making sense out of our lives... in other words, you will learn "bookish" philosophy but you will be able to understand how it fits into your own experience.
