I won awards for writing news, columns, features, and music criticism at Bay Area News Group for 23 years. I spent another five years writing and editing for Bay City News. I won four best columnist awards from the SF Press Club for my work at Riff magazine the past four years (2022-2025). I also published my first book in 2025.

I'll help you reach your goals by going through your work with you, asking and answering lots of questions, and making sure you know why you might make any changes.
