Outside of academics, I run my own streetwear brand, play social football (and formerly played for Melville United), and stay up to date with the latest in tech and cinema—especially anything by Christopher Nolan. I’ve also managed digital content for student communities, so I know how to communicate clearly and keep things engaging. My Tutoring Approach:
As a Civil Engineering student at the University of Auckland, I bring a strong foundation in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. My teaching style is easy-going and approachable, aiming to build confidence while simplifying complex concepts. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s pace and learning style, using real-world examples and step-by-step explanations to ensure clarity.
Teaching Methodology:
I focus on:
Breaking down tricky topics into manageable parts
Active problem-solving together with the student
Encouraging questions and building from what the student already knows
Exam strategies and past paper practice for NCEA success
Lesson Structure:
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, but I’m flexible based on what the student needs—whether it’s a one-off session before an exam or regular weekly help.
Experience:
I’ve worked with high school students across different levels and understand the NCEA system well. I’ve also helped peers and juniors through mentoring and tutoring roles, both formal and informal.
Who I Teach:
I tutor NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 students (usually ages 14–18) in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Whether you're aiming to catch up or excel, I'm here to help.
