About Erika
I have a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at UCSD. My specialization was fluid mechanics which was essentially a lot of math (differential equations to be particular). I am primarily an online educator who teaches math and engineering.

I'm going to go ahead and say it...I think Algebra is more challenging than calculus.
Did you know that the number one mistake that engineering students make in their math courses are simple algebra mistakes? That's because algebra is hard.
In my pre-algebra tutoring sessions I break my lessons down into simple understandable steps. Just because you need a little help in pre-algebra doesn't mean you are bad at math. Engineers are good at math and they still struggle with pre-algebra/algebra!
My tutoring sessions are geared towards both younger kids and college students alike.
