About Zachary

I am a free-thinking, ecocentric, and down-to-earth young man. Very easy to get along with. I graduated in Ecology & Conservation Biology at the end of 2016 with a GPA of 6, and more than one award for academic achievement. I offered tutoring while I was studying, mainly in statistics, and I always received great feedback. In addition to this, I tutored and advised/assisted countless peers (unpaid) in all subjects relating to ecology, and particularly animal biology, throughout my degree.

Another thing that may interest some of you. I am highly adept with research and report/essay writing. From referencing to grammar to proper scientific writing styles and ethics. I am always happy to offer tutoring/support to any student struggling with their assignments, not just course content.

About the lesson

My lessons and tutoring will be aimed at you. Not only what you're struggling with, but what you understand well, and how you best learn, in order to foster more thorough understanding. Something I feel is probably the most valuable about the way I teach, is I genuinely want to help you. I will take the time with you and adapt the way I am teaching to suit you. I always endeavour to explain something in the simplest way I can, to ensure real understanding, rather than simple memorisation, and I will not move on without being satisfied with your progress. Additionally, I am available for free correspondence online should you need any clarification or quick revision, just before an exam for instance.

Details

I can be quite flexible with fees, but I would like to charge $25/hour for any normal session. Please contact me if you have any financial difficulties, and I am happy to discuss options.

If I am required to travel more than 20 km I will charge an extra $5 for fuel costs, but I am willing to travel up to 50 km
