About Grace
I am a college student pursuing a double major in Economics and Environmental Policy. I have a very good understanding of general macro and microeconomics as well as ecology, public policy, and the general social sciences. I also have 5 years of experience working in childcare so if you are looking for a tutor to help with elementary or middle school age homework or studies that is also in my field as well.

I approach each topic by starting off with the basics. For economics it's very important to have a firm grasp on the general concepts before trying to learn the more abstract. My tutoring would help refine the knowledge in the basics and then start building toward the harder concepts. This is the same for any tutoring I do in the social sciences or environmental studies/ecology. For younger students, I would start by talking through the question or problem with them and find out what they know or don't know, then work from there building their knowledge instead of giving the answer or just telling them short-cuts. I am very patient and I understand the frustration that comes with learning something new.
