About Jamal
I am currently studying Economics and Philosophy at The University of Sheffield. I enjoy my course because of how diverse it is, I will go from studying high-level maths for my Economics to writing complex essays for the Philosophy aspect of my course. I have helped my younger cousins (ages 5-12) improve their grades in Maths and English. I have personally benefitted from tutoring at the GCSE level for Maths so I have an of understanding tutoring from the student's perspective, it greatly boosted my confidence and ability, ultimately allowing me to get a higher grade than I was predicted.

I find that repetition is the key to understanding a topic and will aim to make learning a fun and encouraging experience and a productive one. My tutoring techniques will center around boosting the confidence of students as so often a lack of confidence is what prevents a student from going to the next level in their subject.
