About Leela
My interest in economics began during my B.A. in Economics and was deepened through an M.Sc. in Applied Economics, where I explored policy analysis, quantitative modeling, and economic forecasting. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students of diverse abilities, helping them develop conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and confidence in applying theory to practical scenarios. My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and connecting concepts to real-world applications. Using case studies, data analysis exercises, and discussion-based learning, I ensure students engage actively and develop practical reasoning skills. Patience, clarity, and personalized guidance are central to my approach. Beyond teaching, I stay informed on economic research, policy developments, and market trends, integrating these insights into lessons for relevance and depth. Beginners explore foundational concepts such as supply and demand, opportunity cost, equilibrium, and basic market behavior. Advanced learners study econometrics, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.
